THE TRAVEL
December 05, 2009 @4:00 PM| I am aboard (Ceres Bus) from Dalaguete (South Cebu) going to our regional office in Basak, Cebu City- meeting place and we will spend the rest of the night there.
The following day (December 06) we leave in Cebu City as early as 4:00 am  via company’s service car to catch first scheduled trip of ship/RORO going to Bantayan Island. Four hours of long road travel, we reached Hagnaya Wharf of San Remegio (port of ships/RORO going to the Island) and after almost 1 and half hour of sea travel we arrived in Port of Sta. Fe, Bantayan Island.
"Excited to experience what  Bantayan Island has to offer as we are approaching..."
We arrived in our unit office at Bantayan exactly 9:15 AM-with warm welcome and good food!
Sinigang na Isda, Hipon, fried Danggit and pusit, and special sinaing na malagkit...
After whole day discussion of never-ending issues and concerns on our meeting, the night's "hang-out" paid all the stress hehehe…

NOTES
Bantayan Island is located at the western side of northern part of Cebu province. It is composed of three municipalities namely Bantayan, Madridejos, and Santa Fe.
Bantayan Island is truly Cebu’s secret Paradise Island. Gifted by enchanting and relaxing nature, one who first time to come in the island will surely find ways to comeback.

  3. Cool photos... the place in Bantayan Island is empty. Why? Where are the excursionists? The place is really calm. You could sense the coolness of the said place and the peace of mind of your well-being.

  6. I really wanted to go to Bantayan Island. In my opinion, it's by far cleaner than Boracay. Wish they could develop the place more. Awesome pictures you have here.
